Jo posted a new Jamie Bamber interview, that amongst other juicy details, reveals that he thinks he has a rather big bum for his size/stature. Fangirls to the rescue! D wrote a hilarious Sir Mixalot parody: Jamie Got Back and my brain spat out some Shakespearean spoof: The Bamcheeks curve is nothing like the moon. So much fun!

This weekend was busy with RL but I finally got to watch The Oath!

I love those periodic times/challenges that each fandom gets really excited about. I remember anticipating each new round of vm_library and vm_santa. Now I get all worked up waiting for the VividCon vids to release each year, or for another round of spn_j2_bigbang.

I don't have many flisters who are very active in SPN/J2 fandom, so I mainly just read a lot of J2 and lurk in a few journals, but I am REALLY enjoying the squee and excitement right now over j2_everafter. J2 AUs are my favorite kind of fic to read right now and the prospect of dozens of new AUs (crackalicious DISNEY-themed ones, no less!) is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO AWESOMESAUCE.



Can't wait to read them all!

Stupid hiatus...Not back till January 15th! And then there will be Lost AND Battlestar AND Supernatural and my heart will explode with joy.

Oooooh, and in other exciting vidding news, the bidding on Sweet Charity ended and I've been hooked up with two really lovely bidders. One vid will be a demon-hunting, ass-kicking Winchesters gen vid (song specified by the bidder) and the other will either be a Faith or SPN vid (I gave my bidder a list of vid bunnies I've had and she's going to pick one off the list). Both of them are being way awesome about letting me have lots of flexibility and creative control. And it's going to give the extra kick-in-the-pants I've needed to start vidding in new fandoms. I already have the source footage for all of SPN and Buffy, and now I have a good excuse to get going!

Let's hear for the season in which one of my New Shows shows some love for one of my Old Shows.
