My new absolute favorite vid is boppy's I Kissed A Girl. OMG I love it so much, I think I've watched it through at least a dozen times. And I never used to like this song! (DON'T even get me started about stupid 'bi-curious' pop stars and how they give actual bisexuals a bad name...). But this vid turns everything I hated about the song on it's head by subverting the narrator and telling it from Clark's POV. I absolutely lovelovelove the idea of gay!Clark experimenting with heterosexuality--best premise ever.

Also! boppy's Gaius vid "Clint Eastwood" got nominated for Top Five of the YEAR by a BNF in the frakkin New York Times! Go BOPPYYYYYY! *cheering and confetti*

I also really enjoyed kiki_miserychic's recent vid for Shane from the L Word. It's steamy and emotional, showing all the ways that Shane is strong, sexy and prone to self-sabotage.

deirdre_c made a recent vid for SPN that is totally upbeat and adorable.

And! You guys all need to go friend taragel and watch her recent explosion of vidding awesomeness. I absolutely adore her Lee-POV I'm A Believer vid and ultimate proof that P!nk is secretly Kara Thrace vid. She's made several other funny, upbeat and/or crackish ones lately too that kick ass. My new favorite author is with_a_kay. Chash has written MANY hilarious and snarky stories that I have loved, but the recent brilliance of the J2/Big Bang Theory and J2/Green Gables AUs just BOGGLES MY MIND. So much love!

YOU GUYS. I am so ready to be done with vidding prep-work and be actually EDITING. I have spent the last full three days of my vacation making notes and clips (I'm totally making a wiki with all these notes when I'm done!). I just want to make a freakin vid already! I'm so close!!!
