And speaking of a certain JPadHotFace and another JDohSexAss...WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME THAT JASON DOHRING WAS ACTUALLY GETTING HOTTER WITH TIME.
I just assumed he had ceased to exist when I stopped paying attention to VM, but these pics from Polaris 08 clearly prove that his hotness is just INCREASING.

Insta-rec! nicole_anell just made a gorgeous vid about Sam Anders, his character and his relationship with Kara: Electrical Storm. It's great meta for his post-cylon-awareness arc in season 4 and his devotion to his wife. BLOODY AMAZING VID y'all.
Also, I am now obsessed with Repo: The Genetic Opera, thanks tosuperduperkc. How did I not know about this before? It has Anthony Stewart Head and Sarah Brightman and Ogre from Skinny Puppy! It's a dystopian sci-fi/horror rock opera! Some of the songs don't sound as strong as others, and it looks wayyyyyy gory, but it could be Le Awesome. Watch the trailer HERE and listen to my beloved Giles sing his heart out!
Lastly, TWO DAYS TILL SAMNDEAN ARE ON MY SCREEN!!!!!! I sound my barbaric squee over the roofs of the world!

I'm just bursting with flist love and admiration right now, because y'all are kicking some serious ass I have to say.
bop_radar just made the most gorgeous and nuanced Lex Luthor vid to Paranoid Android by Radiohead.
It's complex. It's intense. It's BEAUTIFUL. And it may be one of the best damn vids I've ever ever seen.
Other fandom joys of late:
It is worth mentioning the awesome multi-fandom vid bygiandujakiss to Squeeze's Hourglass. It's all about time loops in different shows, including Buffy, SPN and SG, and it strikes a marvelous balance between humorous and poignant.
I also cracked up hard at 1) this v v serious picspam essay on intertextuality in Supernatural; 2) QoT's hilarious crack!fic RumpelGaeta; and 3)millari's Gaius and Gaeta epistolary catfight.
Also? My appetite for J2 AU is apparently boundless right now. Here be more recs than you can shake a stick at.
