Dudes. VM was good.

I even watched it twice tonight. I haven't done that with VM in a while...

Faves:
-Major screen time by Dick and Mac for the win.
-Also, Mac flirted--I saw her!
-Dick's crotch-shot polaroids and condescending-but-motivational teasing to Logan about moping and "man-parts" was fabulous.
-And V's Barenaked Ladies air-guitar--holy shit!

Not-so-faves:
-Sadly, Logan's blow-job did nothing for me. It had all the right ingredients for my tastes--angst, guilt, desperation, squalor--but it fell flat somehow. I liked him in the rest of the episode, mopey angst/snark and all, but this scene--which I think was supposed to be his most important of the episode--was just meh.
-Also falling flat: Parker's most-recently-raped-but-we-should-go-flirt-with-strangers call to arms. Not working for me.

And is it totally wrong that I enjoyed the brief Piz-flirting and Piz-dares-to-hope just as much as the inevitable-but-sweet L/V reunion?

Lastly, the lines:
"girth-challenged is the preferred nomenclature"
"The only reason we're not out there going hog-wild is because of your FEELINGS?"

But the absolute best: "a regular, vegan JFK lookin for his Mackie-O"

Argh--I know! After the multi-watching of VM, I stayed up till freakin 3am last night because I got all motivated to work on my Kara vid. Good thing I didn't have school this morning...

OMG, I so needed that after the night I had at work. It's okay about Piz. I kept scolding my television. "Stop charming me, Piz!" But he just WOULDN'T STOP!
I heard an interview with Rob and he said they were trying to get as much "Big Lebowski" into the show one line at a time. Standards & practices made them take out the line "Dude, chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature," out of "Charlie Don't Surf." The fact that they got the line in with "girth challenged" made me a little giddy!

Me too! I felt sympathy and "awww" for Piz so I know something is out of whack with the VM 'verse.

Haha, one of my favorite scenes from S2 (and one of the ONLY V/Duncan scenes where I bought them as a couple) was the watching-Big-Lebowski-on-the-couch scene. And "girth challenged" was perfect!

The air-guitar killed me, as did the polaroids. My husband and I looked at each other and he beat me to it, "Uh.. Dick?" -laughing- But I have to say "What are we, on THE VIEW?? Am I Rosie O'Donnell.." was pure gold. I died.

It's funny, I loved the BJ scene... but for all the wrong reasons. The girl? Total scank. I'd expect if he was going to pick someone up, it wouldn't be right to the "cheap stuff." I mean... ew. But when she pulls up and kisses him and he SPITS, wipes his mouth off! LOVED IT! -grinning-

Also falling flat for me was the Parker's rally-post-rape for a little boytoy action. Annnnd... I was disappointed to see Mac kiss Bronson. I loved, loved, loved (an incredible amt) Bronson, but I think it would have been more in Mac's character to kinda take things slow... not just rush into that kiss for the sake of doing it to show everyone (or anyone, even herself.)

You know, I keep squeezing my eyes every time Piz makes puppy-dog looks at Veronica. It's not that I don't like Piz..'cause I do, but I just can't take the trainwreck that's going to become of those two... or the nauseating cartoon hearts that're gonna bubble around them - I'm not sure which. Either way, I love Piz... I want him with -someone-, but not Veronica.

And really, I also wanna give a cheer for an actual kiss between L/V. The way he drags her inside, kissing her in a half-turn, kicking the door shut? Fucking awesome!

Dude--I don't know how I could have forgotten the door-kick kiss! Cuz, seriously, that was all kinds of awesome. It felt like good ole' Logan-the-hot-badass was back :)
