Why on earth is it colder in Austin than Seattle? This is TEXAS peoples.

Agh, just got back from Seattle (very very fun weekend) and am soooo behind on all the new TV shinies on my TiVo. I made time this morning before school to watch the new BSG (who needs sleep when there is Kara to be watched)--and teh hubby pointed out that this episode actually advanced the plot of the series (his main complaint about S3 so far being that there have been a lot of episodes with more character development than overall plot/story/fate-of-humanity type development). I have many thoughts and squees from watching, but I'll save them for when I have caught up on Office, Scrubs (musical episode!), Smallville (JLA!), etc. too.

And the NIN "Only" Kara fanvid is now half-finished--it's going to be soooo pretty and angsty.

Jetlag and sleep deprivation now take over...

You're in Austin? My best friend lived there for a couple of years and just moved about two months ago to Queens, NY :P I never did manage to go visit her there...

OMG, Austin is awesome. I could do a whole lot of gushing about the particulars of Austin-awesomeness, but I'll spare you :)

You must find a reason to visit sometime--friend or no friend. I'm going to be so bummed if I have to move away from here after grad school.
