As much as I have enjoyed my summer romances with True Blood, Leverage and Warehouse 13...I am GLAD for my fall shows to come back on! I think I'm going to do my usual wide watch for the first few weeks and then weed out the newbies that aren't worth the time.

But I've got a lot of new books on deck to read, and I've also been considering netflixing SG1/Weeds/Moonlight/Arrested Development, so we'll see how long it takes for my ambitions for pop culture consumption to cave once I get all busy like.

You got two of mine (SPN and Glee) but adding Stargate Universe and How I Met Your Mother to the list. ^_^

I've also been considering netflixing SG1

Haha, I'm definitely going to watch SG1--it's more a matter of when. I've had several glowing reviews of it's delightful cheesiness (and I'm in SGA withdrawal now). SGU looks like it might be good but darker so I'm counting on SG1 to bring the camp factor :)

I'm not sure I'll last for Vampire Diaries beyond one episode, but I have to give anything vampiric a TRY. Because I'm weak that way. And Flashforward is definitely my Must-See TV for new shows in Sep.

Speaking of vampires, Moonlight has the advantage of being short if you wanna netflix - I found it grew on me watching it. Good stories, interesting characters, but sometimes really winceable execution. Netflixing SG-1 OTOH, is ... kind of intimidating, I should think. *g*

Yeah, I'm thinking Vampire Diaries will drop off pretty bad once it jumps into inevitable CW-soap-opera territory, but they're based on a YA novel series I read as a teen so I have to at least give them a shot :)

And now I'm really considering Flash Forward based on everyone's recs. Hadn't even heard of it before!

:D

Allergies better today now that you're back north? Wish I had seen more of you yesterday but I'm mentally replaying your pretty hair and dress to make up for it!

Yes, definitely better, though I have an awesome rash that I think I got from yesterday's extreme sweating into my bra -- it's right around the underwire. V. sexy.

I wish I'd seen more of you too! <33333333333

As I said above in addition to Glee, I'm also interested in Community and Mercy from the new shows. Oh, and I forgot about SG:U. I'm willing to give it a shot at least.

May or may not watch SYTYCD. It's a huge time commitment for me.

Old shows will include:
Lost
Grey's Anatomy
Ugly Betty (am I a poster-child for ABC or what?)
Big Love whenever it should come back
the Big Bang Theory if I happen to catch it
Friday Night Lights if I can manage to catch up with S3
Dollhouse for sure
Not to mention all the re-runs I'm watching
I can't think of what else right now but I'm sure there's more, lol.

I'm giving SGU a shot too. It sounds like it'll be pretty different from the other ones, but I'm still interested.

I'm definitely going to watch Lost when it comes back on--I'm still way to invested in all the existing storylines/arcs and crazy curious about the ending of last season. Still hooked!

Awww, it looks like a fun show (judging by how much I loved SGA). But ten seasons is kind of daunting! I think I'm going to just take it one disc at a time in between all the other shows :D

That's very cool. Take it easy, it improves, so one and two are not very strong but you need to see them. I'm curious to see if you'll still like SGA more when you see it. I don't think it depends on what you see first but maybe in your case it may influence your reaction. I saw SG-1 first and I keep liking it A LOT more because the team and their relationship was written much, much better and I like all those characters more as well :)

oh and you'd watch the new cut of 1x01 CHILDREN OF THE GODS -not the original one-. It's really much better and has a commentary as well.
