BQ's Fanon interferes again

So I totally enjoyed "The Hub", particularly the Pilot Hug of Awesome, but what cracked me up the most? In my head I immediately 'corrected' Roslin's misperception of pilots so that it was Kara-the-strong-one who was comforting emo!Lee on her shoulders (and not the way it was on screen where it looked like poor-Kara leaning on big-strong-Lee, which equals HUMPH in my book). Because in my personal fanon that it was pilots would do.

Also enjoyed Helo's emotional complicated and creepy stuff with the not!Athena-Eight, Roslin's personal journey towards being compassionate, and Baltar's hilarious attempts to converse with the hybrid and convert the centurion. Callis is HILARIOUS sometimes.

Word. I agree on all of it. :) And I had the same thought about pilots.

Baltar was wonderful. I adore James Callis - while his character squicks me out most of the time, he always delivers the best performances. I don't know how he doesn't crack himself up sometimes - I'd bet the rest of the cast (watching him talking religion with the centurion) was howling. :)

Baltar totally squicks me a good chunk of the time too, but his capacity for wank and self-preservation and cartoonish indignation are just priceless sometimes. I'd be howling if I had to watch him on set too.

Convert the centurion was fantastic! Can you imagine what it was like to act that as the centurions are CGI and add after the fact. He was probably talking to a ball on a stick. But hey they actually managed to give a centurion some personality.

I was like that's my old Baltar trying to cause a rucus. lol

It's from a hilarious thread (http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?showtopic=3151229) that someone started over at the scifi forums about all the things that mischevious pilots/military personnel would be banned from doing on ship. Total crack and way goofy.
