boomqueenI caught up on Supernatural and Lost with the hubz today! My spoilerific musings and squeeings:
Lost 4.03 - Economist
All episodes should be Sayid episodes.
Or just more of them.
Cuz seriously, he does emo man pain and wavy hair with duster trenchcoats and gorgeous sweatiness like no other. GUH.
I also completely love him as an assassin. Like for reals.
I totally called it that he was a spy/assassin after that first thing on the golf course. And I totally called it that Hurley was tricking Sayid/Kate when they found him in the closet.

Lost 4.04 - Eggtown
So, I'm pretty sick of the whole triangle thing y'all. I mean I love Sawyer and I love just about any scene he's in--but the more time passes the more I get really tired of both Kate and Jack. Particularly Kate though. The longer the show goes on, and the more characterization they try to give Kate, the thinner Lilly's acting seems. Le Sigh.
And though this episode had a few interesting twists, particularly the end reveal and some of the other flash-forward and Miles/Ben stuff, this is not going to be the kind of episode that I care about rewatching later on. Seems like a bit of a waste.
Does this mean that Aaron is one of the Oceanic 6, or are there still two more to be revealed? Because he was born on the island so he wouldn't have counted as an original passenger. *is confused*

SPN 3.11 - Mystery Spot

jubjubfest thing now. Dean+food=OTP liek whoa
They both had the best faces throughout the whole thing too. Dean's wake-up dance to the mullet rock. The unnecessarily long gargling in the bathroom. The hilarious talking at the same time for fifteen+ lines in the diner. Also the OMGSOMUCHANGSTFACE of Sam reliving his brother's death over and over again. So good!
Also, I know he's been beefing up progressively over the last three seasons, but when did Jared Padalecki's arms become so huge? In his dark!year of killing and revenge there's a shot of him loading a gun with uber-determined face and his arms are GINORMOUS [caps from Screencap Paradise]:
DUDE. Arms.

SPN 3.12 - Jus In Bello
I don't actually have that much to say about the episode itself other than I love Dean's post-joke awkward faces as much as ever (think it's because we're awesome? I think it's because we're awesome), and I definitely like the zombie-siege/Dawn-of-the-Dead thing. Also, Hendrickson would have made an awesome hunter and he was also making many googley eyes at Dean and Dean's lips. Whatever, Hendrickson, I saw you so you can't deny it.
But! The single best part of the whole freakin episode was the casual but OMGSOHOT flicking open of shirts to reveal their brand new matching protective-spell tattoos. My tattoo!kink just about shot through the roof.
And then? And then! A whole bunch of other brilliant and similarly kinked fangirls went and wrote some coda fic about the tattooing that just rocks my socks. One that is Sam/Dean and one that is J-squared. Both feature some amazingly hot and possessive manhandling. Made of win and full of yum.

Just finished having an unabashed cheese-fest withamaleka_crone where we watched Newsies, which involved lots of singing along, pointing out boys we thought were cute when we first watched the movie (and admitting to feeling like perv's when we still found some of them quite hot), and making plans for an upcoming Christian Bale extravaganza: Metroland, The Land of Faraway, Velvet Goldmine, Reign of Fire, and 3:10 to Yuma are all under consideration. There will be lots of squeeing, to be sure.
Now I'm going to go mock the oscars with my hubby. :D
