Warehouse 13:
God, I love Claudia so much. She brings much needed snark and glee to the entire cast.
Also, I love Pete and his hilarious Seeley Booth-like mannerisms.
And BADGER/ROMO/AWESOME!REGENT!GUY. I think I could listen to him read the phone book.
Literary!fail for the Plath typewriter that sucks your will to live though. Plath may have been dark, but she was not pathetic!
Still, I really enjoyed this week's ep and I'm glad that the cast has really hit their stride with chemistry and that the writers are playing to the strengths of each actor. If it had just been Pete/Myka for the whole series I would have probably lost interest, but with Claudia and Artie they are like a grown-up goofy version of the Scoobies (which = <333333 )
Glee:
Jane Lynch FTW! Her snark, her facial expressions, her everything.
I really love this whole show so far. I love that the adults are just as delightfully awkward and adorable as the teens. I love the teacher feuding. And I really love any show that bursts randomly into song.
And aw!damn that Kanye cover was hot. I don't normally think any of the cast are particularly hot but the teacher was just burning fire hot during the Kanye scene.
So, confession: I don't normally watch Glee with my slash goggles on, but I SWEAR that there were teacher/student Will/Finn glances during that scene!!! Dirtybadwrong, I KNOW, but it was kinda hot. I'd read that shit.
*clears throat* ANYWAY, ahem, yay glee. That is all.
Vampire Diaries:
I reread the book last week for nostalgia and kicks (seriously y'all, I read this one in MIDDLE school back in the day), and the show is definitely going for a more vampire-soap-opera/Twilight-lite vibe than the book. God bless Kevin Williamson's snark, but I don't know how much longer I'm going to watch this show. Unless I start seeing some wicked good OT3-ish fic start popping up on the flist…
Same as book: dead parents from car crash, mysterious crows, psychic best friend Bonnie, sexy brooding vampire transfer student with magic daylight-protection ring who snarks at teacher to save Elena's face because she looks like his ex-girlfriend Katherine from centuries ago, ex-boyfriend Matt, nasty popular girl Caroline…and Damon is wicked hot and snarky.
Different from book: little brother instead of sister, Elena is brunette instead of blonde, Stefan is not Italian and is not avoiding her like the plague because he's a tortured and hungry vampire and HE keeps a journal too wtf?
So yeah. They are all exceptionally pretty. There were some fun songs on the soundtrack (yay MGMT and Placebo!). But seriously: most emo show ever, y/y?
Supernatural premiere
Yayyyyyyy for my Winchesters back on the screen. Just as bloody and angry and emo and snarky and damn pretty as ever.
Water balloon of chunky soup FTW. I might like Castiel this season if he keeps be a bamf who run around kicking angel ass and taking names.
And canon spastic wincest-writing fangirls. WOW, Kripke. Boys+clavicles=new OT3?
Looooove the Dean eye-rolling. And the 'angel-condom' line. And the gruff-voiced angst of doom where the boys are all broken and untrusty and in desperate need of BEING FIXED NOW DAMMIT. Bro!hugs all around please!
