They're teasing us, you know! #6 - it rook me a few goes, but he does say it and it was rather swoony #5 - *nod nod* #4 - I fail #2 - bad lighting and brief shots, but Sam did go all 'husband' and it was good. #1 - I remember when I used to fret that Sam wouldn't work the tanks like he did his sleeveless tops. I was wrong. I kinda want to take a big bite out of him. YUM.
the charged and creepy energy between them was just awesome and perfect
it was. Leoben gets so happy just being able to look at her. To touch her would fuel his fantasies for a millennium. But at the same time I felt fear for Kara. The last time she let real Leoben touch her was after he threatened harm to a toddler. I definitely felt more comfortable later when she was kicking the shit out of him. But on a purely shallow note - Katee/Callum? YOWZA!
And the smackdown later was YEARS of anger and payback: for New Caprica, for Maelstrom
It was awesome and I'm so glad Sam had rage against what Leoben had done to his wife. Kara's had to fight her own battles for so long, no one ever helps her. So I cheered Sam getting in Leoben's face.
But. I now have this empty place in me where I'd hoped Lee would be the one to kick Leoben in the head for what he'd done to Kara. I mean, we don't even know if Lee felt angry about what had happened to her. After her imprisonment Lee was still so irate about her leaving him that he could still only see his own pain at the time, Kara be damned. But logically I know this moment belonged to Sam. Sam is the only one we've seen Kara open up to about Leoben and about her mother and if anyone ever had a right to feel protective of Kara it's Sam. I think Lee thinks Kara's invincible and would never dare to be protective of her.
I can't put myself in her head like I normally can because she doesn't know what's going on in her head. It's disorienting!
I find myself really unsure at the end of each episode and I think a major part of that is feeling unsure about what Kara is. I want to say she's human and the same woman and I'm also trying to prepare myself for her being Aurora or something, but this not knowing is wearing on me. Maybe I'm scared to find out that this isn't Kara after all and Ron has some fantastical plot twist up his sleeve and that our girl actually died four months ago :(
I agree with the need for fun. I vote that Lee walks into his quarters on Colonial One and hears his shower running. In a shocking turn of events it turns out to be Kara! (I bet you didn't guess *g*) shower!sex ensues. Thighs pressed against glass maybe? Sound effects that could set fangirls' panties on fire maybe? But before Lee gets satisfaction a beeping noise interrupts - and the boy wakes up alone in his bed with his alarm going off. The episode could be called - That Which Will Come - because I enjoy double entendres.
