It makes me realize the completely unreasonable amount of affection I have for all my BSG actors when I totally squee about seeing them on screen for like five seconds in another show.
I completely know what you mean. I think my most insane moment in this area was when I watched one episode of the children's cartoon Oban Star Racers out of curiosity because I'd found out Gaeta waas one of voice actors on it.
I have looked up many of the BSG actors on IMDB for this purpose, and in fact am currently on a campaign to Netflix movies they have been in, one actor at a time, as a way to deal with hiatus withdrawal symptoms. I am thinking about making posts about it, actually, as sort of a combination squee-fest/public service to the BSG fans on my flist.
So many people have mentioned so many appearances on this comment thread, I feel like I should just bookmark this page as a reference!
