WTF teevee scheduling gods

On the one hand, YAY for Lost in 3 weeks!

On the other hand, WHY ON EARTH does it have to switch to Thursday night (when I am already torn between much-beloved Smallville/Supernatural and the Office)?

So I guess now I record two of them and watch one live...BUT WHICH ONE!?!

Of course, this is all contingent on a magical fairy-wonderland where the strike ends and my other beloved shows have writers again...
