Songs in the key of H
Sep. 9th, 2006 03:41 pmSpreading a little of the music love:
herowlness gave me the letter H for my list.
Hanging on a Curtain by Morphine.
So mellow; I love these guys.
How Sweet It Is by Joan Osborne.
I don't care for the original of this song, and I don't really care for Osborne's own stuff--but this one kicks ass. Mellow, jazzy, songbird ass.
Hey Mami by Fannypack.
Ha ha! This one's the curveball in this group: this is an indie hip-hop girl group that one of my coworkers turned me on to. And they're so much fun!
Hear me out by Frou Frou.
I tried Imogen Heap's solo album, but I just don't like it as much as her work with Frou Frou. She's got a great voice but she needs someone else to write her songs.
Hem of your garment by Cake.
This one is the hubby's fault. I've always liked Cake, but he showed me how good all the album tracks are (particularly some of the ones that didn't get any radio play). I love their sense of humor.
Now it's your turn. Comment and I'll give you a letter too.
