Yes! The alternate ending seems like the perfect resource for some slightly AU pilot romance/pr0n during the hiatus. I'd love to see someone's version of how THAT conversation would have played out. "Don't mind me, Lee; I'm just sitting here in your room, all nonchalant and alive and stuff..." LOL!
And I'm more than willing now to extend her destiny arc just a little further to include showing the way to earth--not just finding it, but being the guide--as the fulfillment of her destiny. Kara as the one who knows where it is and can take them there (ties in nicely with nebakanezer's theory on Kara's destiny from the stuff from Maelstrom where the Aurora talisman was going to go on the front of Adama's ship as the figurehead, and now Kara will be leading the fleet as the figurehead).
