Awww... no toe stepping, no worries. I just have always found it terribly amusing how americans go on about the canadian accent, with "aboot this" and "eh, that". *g* Personally, i find American accents to be quite interesting at times! Like my new Brother In Law from pennsylvania who sounds like he's from Texas, or my co-worker's BF from Arkansas who has the most western accent i have *ever* heard. ;)
Or just a much more rural English accent. I loved his description of farming and pub life too.
Could be very rural Englist, too. Accents are just all over the place in the UK, and wildly vary from place to place, so you never know.
