I may or may not have rewatched that scene where Lee, Kara and Racetrack all come swaggering by Helo/Sharon several times. I liked Kara's easy friendliness with Sharon, and all of the pilot banter. (For the shallow side of me, all it takes is about 10 seconds of Lee's arm porn and Kara's smirk for me to get excited.)

On the whole, I dug all the detail and insight of both's Karl's life and his marriage/family with Sharon. Really cool layers of depth to add to his character. Got plenty tired of the self-righteous sighs and nose-pinching though. I had several "get over yourself" type moments with him.

Yay for the return of Six's head!Baltar in his snazzy pinstripe suit!

I was okay with the Lee/Dee flirting, smooching and joking in the bar. It seemed a lot more honest than most of what we've seen of the good side of their marriage so far. Still not likely to EVER ship them, but at least it seemed real.

But Kara's eye-roll: totally cracked me up.

I was telling ez_as_pi that if I was a cylon wife like Sharon I'd never do the laundry. I'd make my husband fold my undies and I'd either threaten him with my mad fighting skillz or withhold sex.

Dude! What was up with that anyway? I like Sharon-the-protective-mom, and Sharon-the-soldier, and even Sharon-the-partner/friend-to-Helo but between the laundry folding and the "leave Dee alone cuz her man will take care of her", I was not so much for Sharon-the-wife.

*raises hand* Me too! Not to mention the fact that I really really felt Lee cast a 'checking you out' look at Helo. :-) I know it was supposed to be a 'We're mocking you' size-up, but it still knocked the slasher in me flat.

I understand that every episode can't be all about K/L and I did enjoy Helo getting some screen time, but I've only seen it once, I feel that I might not have caught all the nuances.

I did love head!Baltar returning though, that was pretty fun.

i agree, a little more pilots would have been nice, BUT inevitably when we see pilots then we HAVE to see Sam and/or Dee and I dont really want to see them. (K well I DO want to see Sam) but unfortunately he currently has no purpose other than being Kara's man and I dont want to see him in that role.

I've been having some crazy-ass theories about Sam lately...teh hubby and I were talking about the quad and Anders, and now my brain is spinning with whacked out ideas.

Really? I'd love to hear them :) I dont mind spoilers (but you can email me if you dont wanna talk about them here) I heard a possible spoiler for Sam's future and I am not very happy about it. Sounds like you need to write up some fic darling!!! *wink*
