this is fun! I've been saying that there aren't enough vids that hit that eighties-kink, so I was really glad to see your post. I love the opening getting-ready sequence (Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead! An eighties classic!) and you put together a lot of the great eighties teen movie conventions with hilarious and wonderful results.

But, a little concrit: I was really distracted by the aspect ratio problems that you had here - looks like you vidded in 16:9, but didn't crop or reframe the sources that were 4:3 or 2:35:1 so that they'd conform to that aspect ratio. You should read up on that - it took me forever to learn, but I'm really glad I did.

Ooh, my childhood. :-) Nice vid - well done, and it was fun to see all those movies again.

Yep, I've seen every single one of those movies. I'm not sure if I should be proud of that . . .

This was a lot of fun, thanks! :D

This was so much fun! Such a great song, and I loved the way you organized the clips!

Boom you always do the most fun vids! I was so impressed with your amazing amount of sources here! All my fave 80s movies and then some. As I followed the storyline (which was also ingenious to follow sort of a whole day in the life of the typical teen 80s movie) I found myself wondering if you'd use clip X from movie Y and sometimes you did!

Really nice internal movement synching too on a lot of the clips, especially the ones involving fist pumps. Hee. (It's my goal to someday create a vid that has amazing internal synching on every single clip...sigh.)

This was absolutely fabulous. What a trip down memory lane (I promise I did not look like the poofy haired scary girls back then).

Thanks for this vid. *downloads*

That was so great. Seriously. I lmao'd. I like how you grouped little similar segments together, the hair flipping, the door-opening, etc.

And I'd forgotten how much of wonderful Some Kind of Wonderful really is!

Lurve it!!

Thanks for the add! Also, I just realized that I never commented on this fabulous vid of yours. Kudos for going beyond the usual John Hughes fare to include some lesser known favorites of mine like Adventures in Babysitting and One Crazy Summer.
