So I had all this meta about Rapture (full of musings on the love quadrangle, the actual advancement of the plot, and the many awesome things revealed in this ep) instead I'm going to point y'all to the wisdom of others, and go straight for the shallow spoilerific picspam, hehe.

A lot of arm porn and not nearly enough pretty faces...

Dudes, seriously! These are probably the least pretty caps I have ever seen of my very very pretty OT3: sexy glistening arm shots everywhere and a lot of awkward faces.

I think Lee wins for the shiny factor in the first round

But once they're in the field, I've got Sam at 2 arm porn shots and Lee at just 1...

And this is where the FAAAAAAACE factor comes in, because it's a toss up between Lee's prune face and Sam's worst-hair-ever. I'm going to call it even and given them each -1 points for this round.

WTF, there wasn't a single pretty cap of Kara in the bunch
On the one hand, I give huge points to Katee for going for the maximum impact in her portrayal of pain and anger. She's a very pretty woman and I really like that she's not so vain of an actress that she objects to being filmed in an unflattering light.
On the other hand, I don't have any pretty Kara pics to add to my picspam...*pouts*

The prettiest Kara-shot from the whole episode featured this weirdo plastered-back hairdo that I wasn't sure what to think of.

Ugh. I'm going to have to do an entire picspam of just pretty Kara/Katee shots to counteract all this face-squinching and bad hair.

Lucy looked gorgeous throughout the entire Final-Five scene, Farrah-bangs and all. gah, so pretty.

One of the reasons I liked this episode was because everyone looked so delightfully haggish in it!

I love when BSG pulls no punches and de-glams everyone. Helo was looking especially bumpy and pasty, n'est-ce pas?

LOVE IT! points for arm porn. LOL! I loved that little thing Lee did to Sam's knee, two punches? what was that? I dont know, but it was great. Sam had some serious bad hair in that pic, I missed that. LOL Kara definitely wasn't looking pretty, but I agree D'Anna was radiant.

I'm all for the de-glammed cast. If it was just pure pretty all the time I'd probably develop gout or diabetes or some physical manifestation of COMPLETE DECADENCE.

And Sam is soooo pretty. He's Kara/Starbuck's husband (who she is cheating on with the other pretty boy). Pretty much a win-win situation there in terms of the eye candy, hehe.

I'm sure it was supposed to be sweaty because they were on a hot, stuffy planet, but DUDE it seriously looked like they were getting ready to throw down in some kind of steamy baby-oil beefcake wrestling. gah...drooling ensues.

And Kara was in a lot of pain, but I think she still had a few beautiful moments. Especially at the end with Helo.

If I wasn't so tired, I'd take you up on a challenge and find the best Kara pics in Rapture to prove you wrong. Girlfriend is always hot (as least in latte's universe!!!)

Oh, Emo Arm Porn for the winner! ;-) But yes, Kara's squinchy face and bad hair were a bit disappointing really. The boys won this ep, I feel--what with all that knee-nudging and all! ;-)

I loved the scene at the end with Helo. She can seduce me just as easily with the teasing banter as with the hot sweaty angst--I'm easy like that :)

There's definitely a pretty Kara picspam in the works, I'm just waiting for someone to cap the ep in more detail 'cuz I'm lazy...But I'll gladly accept latte's hottest Kara pics anytime!

Hehe, I take solace in the overwhelming prettiness of the boys this time around, but I have faith in K (and the previews for this week definitely hold promise of some serious pretty).
