I've been dreading thinking about the movie version of this one too--so many awesome details always get lost in the cut and this one is more intricate than any previous plot.

I like the concrete connection jkr makes between the 3 Hogwart's boys: Harry, tom riddle and snape, and that connection is weakening throughout the films

I totally agree! I love the continuum of good and evil that Harry, Snape and Voldemort represent (and the similarities that she subtly creates between their characters), but there isn't much of that in the movies. #5 is supposed to really establish Harry and Voldemort's connection--which I think the movie did an okay job of following through on (with his fear that he was becoming evil himself). And I guess we'll just have to hope that the movie of #6 adequately addresses the connection with Snape.

I totally enjoyed the book too--regardless of whatever fears and flaws :)
